Accountant

We are looking for an Accountant with experience in multi-currency accounting and audits.

The role

R3 Private Concierge is a private concierge company in Dubai. We work with clients and suppliers in AED, EUR, USD and GBP. We need an Accountant to keep our books, handle payments in several currencies and prepare for the audit.

This is a hands-on role, not a manager role. You work with the management and the operations team.

The work

What you will do.

  1. 01Record invoices, receipts, supplier bills and payments in Zoho Books.
  2. 02Handle transactions in AED, EUR, USD and GBP, including exchange rate differences.
  3. 03Monthly bank, card and supplier reconciliations.
  4. 04Follow up on client and supplier payments with the operations team.
  5. 05Month-end closing and management reports.
  6. 06Prepare for the audit and work with the auditors. Keep VAT and corporate tax records in line with FTA rules.

You

What you bring.

  • At least 3 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
  • Experience with multi-currency accounting.
  • Audit experience, at an audit firm or in a company.
  • Knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax.
  • A degree in accounting or finance.
  • You already live in the UAE.

A plus

  • ACCA, CPA or CMA, completed or in progress.
  • Experience with Zoho Books.
  • Experience in travel or hospitality.
